Is 50 cents a click good?
Hi there. I'm new. I just wanted to know if 2.00 a day for 200 uniques is a good day's earning for a proxy. If it isn't, how can I make those earnings greater? I have read a few posts on here with some pretty good profits. I usually make one really good site and get it popular then sell it for $600+. (And yes I know how low 200 uniques a day is. I'm testing out a new idea I had.)

RE: Is 50 cents a click good?
It's not too bad for just 200 visitors mate
$0.50 a click is good though for proxies the highest I have ever gotten is close to $3 a click, generally good clicks for proxies lies in the range between $1.20-$2.50 per click. However other factors such as smart pricing would lower your clicks to 1 cent per click so you might want to avoid smart pricing by getting mainly US, UK, Cad, Aus and European traffic. There are quite a number of ways to get smart priced, look around teh Google section in this forum and you can find out what leads to smart pricing. I just remembered that I had an old account on this site from a while back (havenalmighty). I sold the proxy I posted in Reviews for $575 which made me quite happy. |

RE: Is 50 cents a click good?
To obtain higher paying ads, you have to have the keywords of those ads appearing in your text. For example, "You can use our web portal surfing experience to obtain more information on student loans, financial funding to help pay for your college fees".
By writing in such a way it is fine with adsense as it does make sense and not as if you are trying to get high paying ads by stuffing these high paying keywords in your proxy text. So be smart and write in a way they google wont think your trying to pull a string on them

Sometimes it can be $6-10 ranges on the popularity and demand of the keyword. Free PR3 Proxy Listing HTTPS Secured Proxy Find Your Google Page Rank - Add nice pagerank button to your web for free. |

50 cents a click is good, about my average. I just had a fluke today with one site on my network earning $12 > from 4 clicks

RE: Is 50 cents a click good?
I think 50 cpc is good, but the overall ecpm of the page is what's more important. One of my proxies has a ctr of over 5% with lower earnings per click, but it far outperforms the ones with high cpc and low ctr. It's a constant balancing act.
